Erfolgswelle charges $34000 for generating a globally-unique name for a newborn baby.Parents will pay thousands of dollars to a brand yo name their unborn child. A Switzerland based naming agency, Erfolgswelle, started its business in 2015 of creating a unique first name for a baby. Marc Hauser is the CEO and founder of the agency. They have twelve translators who can speak the most common languages around the world. According to its website, the company will charge $34,000 for a nationally unique name and provide a spectrum of services that includes 100 hours of research and checks for a patent.

Erfolgswelle's naming methods involve searching through a name's history. Along with translators, the creative team assembles a list of fifteen to twenty-five unique names using a combination of different words. The short-listed names are then presented to the customer for review. Once they receive the family's approval, a team of professional historians will check for the existence of the names used in markets, or the previous history and vet the name.
