After the announcement of not extending the Lockdown following 14 April 2020, the travel agents have started the process of questioning regarding bookings in railways. Manish Sharma of Akshar Travel said that he is getting many inquiries regarding the travel bookings from clients.

The Ministry of Railways has clarified that the reservation for journeys post 14th April was never stopped.
